Stacey Copeland: How boxing challenges society’s view of femininity

Stacey has represented her country at an international level in two sports –  football and boxing. Following a successful football career, where she represented England, played in the FA cup final, and played overseas for six years in the US and Sweden; Stacey then went on to pursue her dreams of a career in boxing.

During her six-year amateur boxing career, Stacey became European silver medallist and three-time national champion. She then turned professional and 2018 became the first British woman to win the Commonwealth title.
