  • Pamela Cookey

    CHAIR

    Highly regarded as the face of English netball, Pamela Cookey is best known for her performances in the Commonwealth Games England netball team.

    With an impressive 11-year netball career to her name, Pamela has rightfully earned a spot in sporting history.

    After retiring from her beloved sport as a top-class goal shooter, Pamela devoted her time to being a sports pundit for companies such as the BBC and Sky Sports.

  • Sue Anstiss MBE

    FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

    Sue is an author, director, podcaster and entrepreneur who has driven change in women’s sport for over 30 years.

    Sue is the director and producer of two documentaries - Game On. The Unstoppable Rise of Women’s Sport and Abbie Ward. A Bump in the Road (ITV and RPTV).

    Her book, Game On, was shortlisted for the Sunday Times Sports Book Awards and longlisted for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year.

    Sue is the creator and host of The Game Changers, an award-winning podcast that celebrates trailblazing women in sport, and is co-founder of the Women’s Sport Collective, an inclusive community for women working in sport.

    She also sits on England Rugby’s Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group, was a founding trustee of the Women’s Sport Trust and is a Trustee of Leisure Focus.

    In 2018, Sue received an MBE for her services to women’s and grassroots sport. In 2021, she received a Distinguished Alumni Award from Loughborough University and in 2023 was recognised in BBC Woman’s Hour Power List as one of 30 outstanding women in sport.

  • Kate Hannon

    DIRECTOR

    Kate has worked in sport marketing and sports PR for 15 years.

    A trustee of Cymru Women’s Sport, former trustee of the Women’s Sport Trust, and co-founder of the Women’s Sport Collective, she is passionate about creating parity in society, particularly in the world of women’s sport.

    As a qualified engineer, Kate started her career with telecommunications companies including Ericsson, Bell South, France Telecom and British Telecom. She’s a natural problem solver and thrives on getting things done.

  • Matt Horler

    DIRECTOR

    A former Grenadier Guard, Matt was a Director of Promote Public Relations, one of the UK’s leading sports and physical activity agencies, for over 20 years.

    He is now a non-executive director of Fearless Women, having founded a successful personal training business.
