The Women’s Sport Collective is an inclusive, collaborative network for all women working in sport, with an ambition to see a gender equal industry, and ensure that every woman has the chance to flourish and fulfil her potential. The not-for-profit Collective provides a range of opportunities for women, at any stage of their career, to network, learn and empower others.
Founded in 2020 by Fearless Women directors Sue Anstiss and Kate Hannon, membership of the Collective is free for any woman working in sport thanks to the support of Sky Sports. The positive impact of the Collective was recognised earlier this year when it was shortlisted for a Tessa Jowell Community Award at the 2022 Sports Industry Awards.
Commenting on new panel, Kate Hannon, said: “We want to establish strong foundations for the future of the Collective and ensure diverse voices and views are represented. The Advisory Panel will provide us with advice and guidance on the long-term strategy of the Collective, representing our members to ensure we stay relevant for all women working in sport.”
Sue Anstiss added: “We were overwhelmed by the number of exceptional applications we received from members of the Collective and selecting just 12 women was a tough ask. Kate and I are so proud to share details of those joining the Panel today and very much look forward to working with them to ensure the Women’s Sport Collective continues to thrive.”
