Intersectionality in Sport: We will delve into the significance of recognising and addressing intersectionality in sports. Participants will gain insights into the unique challenges faced by individuals at the crossroads of various identities and how these factors intersect in the sporting world. 

The session will be led by Anne Onwusiri

Anne, a dynamic leader and diversity advocate in sports. As Founder and Director of Black Girls Ruck, dedicated to fostering inclusion for Black women and non-binary individuals in rugby, Anne is a driving force for positive change. Formerly a Sports Client Account Manager at Stonewall, they excelled in LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion. As the Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Hackney Rugby Football Club, Anne championed positive relationships and practices for minority groups. Nominated for the 2023 Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year - Changemaker Award, Anne is recognized for outstanding contributions, embodying the spirit of positive change in sports.
